Question:

Can I join infilled lattice beams to a Voronoi boundary lattice?

Answer:

Unfortunately, we won't be able to match up those lattices properly. You can get to the open beams by using a Filter block with the values of the points relative to the implicit "surface" (where the field equals 0):

    • Grab vertices
    • Evaluate Field, with the implicit body as Scalar Field and Point as a list of vertices
    • Filter, list of points by field value less than 0.1mm

However, if these points were inputted into the Voronoi Boundary Lattice, then the lattice would actually be generated around them.  One alternative approach is to take both the infill volume lattice as well as the Voronoi boundary lattice into a Merge Lattices block. By playing around with the tolerance, you can pull beams together. Then with a Remove Open Beams block, you can remove any leftover extensions.
