How do I line up the part and CLI file when I import them to QuantAM?

Answer:

In QuantAM, there is no context menu option to switch to Part Coordinate System for CLI files, but you can still use the Part Coordinate System. To turn it on in Renishaw QuantAM:

  1. Open App Settings.
  2. In the Coordinate System Expander, Enable the Part Coordinate System option.
  3. Import the CLI files.

You can see the CLI files placed on the layout with respect to their coordinate system in the Layout Stage. However, this doesn’t change the way they are visible in the Design Stage.
