Why is there no result in the defined frequency range for a Modal Analysis?

Question:

Why is there no result in the defined frequency range for a Modal Analysis?

Applies to:

  • Simulation

Answer:

The Modal Analysis block currently gives us the mode shapes at the model's eigenfrequencies (natural frequency). This is why an error occurs when you bound the analysis between certain frequencies. There are no eigenfrequencies within the bounded frequencies.
